Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon season salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 4 to 6 strips bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, panko bread crumbs, season salt, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and red chili flakes until combined.
  • Stir in the chopped bacon, mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until the batter comes together and is thick and cheesy.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls. Place evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce (like ranch, marinara, or spicy aioli).

    This recipe doesn't specify what's done with the panko crumbs. I mean, it's fairly obvious, but I'm just letting you know it's missing in the directions.

        This is a pretty good recipe, but the parmesan cheese gave me the blues. lol. This was my first time trying it. The bacon gave the bites a little crunch to it, just the way I like it. I'll try this recipe again, but will use cheddar cheese instead of parmesan.
