Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites

When I pull these garlic parmesan chicken bites out of the oven, they’re perfectly golden with that crunchy panko crust locked in. You can actually hear the crisp when you move them around the pan.

Then comes the magic. I melt butter, add fresh garlic, and let it bloom just enough to perfume the whole kitchen. Once that parmesan melts into the butter, it becomes this rich, silky sauce that clings to every single piece.

When I toss the crispy chicken in that sauce, it coats every nook and cranny. You get that crunch first, then the juicy chicken inside, and finally that bold garlic parmesan finish that makes you reach for another one immediately.

They look like wings, but they eat cleaner and faster. Perfect bite-sized flavor bombs.

Why You’ll Love This

  • No deep frying required
  • Big garlic flavor without being overwhelming
  • Crispy texture with juicy chicken inside
  • Perfect for game day, parties, or quick dinners
  • Way cheaper and better than takeout

It gives wing energy without the mess.

What To Serve With Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites

These bites are bold, buttery, and savory, so you want sides that either balance them or double down on the indulgence.

If You Want Balance

Fresh Caesar Salad
Crisp romaine, shaved parmesan, and a light dressing cut through that buttery garlic sauce perfectly.

Simple Garden Salad
Tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, lemon vinaigrette. The acidity keeps everything from feeling heavy.

Steamed Broccoli or Roasted Asparagus
Clean, simple vegetables let the chicken stay the star.

If It’s Game Day Mode

Crispy Fries or Garlic Parmesan Fries
Lean into the flavor. Garlic on garlic never hurt anybody.

Loaded Potato Wedges
Cheese, bacon, sour cream. Now you’re not playing around.

Mac and Cheese
Creamy mac with these crispy bites? That’s a comfort food power move.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil until evenly coated.
  • In a separate bowl, mix: Panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Salt, and Black pepper
  • Dredge each chicken piece in the breadcrumb mixture. Press lightly so the coating sticks well.
  • Arrange the coated chicken in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat: Melt the butter.
  • Add minced garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Do not brown the garlic.
  • Reduce heat and stir in parmesan cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add chopped parsley if using.

Recipe Tips

Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
Give each piece space so the hot air circulates. That’s how you get crispy instead of soggy. If needed, use two pans.
Bonus tip, spray the coated chicken lightly with cooking spray before baking for an extra golden crust.
