Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil and season with kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and baking powder if using. Toss well to coat evenly.
Working in batches, place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown, crispy, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
While the wings cook, heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the honey, chopped chipotles with adobo sauce, and lime juice.
Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl.
Pour the warm honey chipotle sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
Serve immediately while hot and sticky.
