Wood Pellet Pizza and Wings

There’s something different about food cooked in a pellet pizza oven. The heat hits harder, the crust gets that slight char, and everything cooks fast while locking in flavor. When I slide this pepperoni pizza into the oven, the cheese bubbles up quickly, the pepperoni curls around the edges, and the crust gets that crispy wood-fired texture you just can’t get from a regular oven.

At the same time, those wings are cooking up with crispy skin and a smoky flavor from the pellets. Once I toss them in buffalo sauce, they’ve got that perfect balance of heat, crispiness, and flavor. Pairing homemade pizza and wings together in the pellet oven just feels like the ultimate game day or weekend setup.

Why You’ll Love Pellet Oven Pizza & Wings Better

Pellet pizza ovens cook at extremely high temperatures, which creates textures and flavor you simply can’t duplicate in a regular kitchen oven. The pizza crust gets crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, and the pepperoni develops those slightly charred edges that make homemade pizza feel restaurant quality. The wings benefit too, getting crisp skin with a subtle smoky flavor from the wood pellets. Everything cooks faster, hotter, and with more flavor.

Recipe Tips

Preheat the pellet pizza oven fully before cooking. High heat is what gives the pizza crust that crispy texture and helps the wings cook evenly with crispy skin.
