Chili Cheese Burritos

This Chili Cheese Burrito recipe combines seasoned ground beef, beans, rice, and shredded cheese and jalapeños, all wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 - 10 in Flour Tortillas
  • 1 can Chili
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 ½ tablespoon Taco Seasoning
  • 4 to 5 Garlic Cloves chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno sliced optional

Instructions
 

  • In a pan heat your chili and garlic just enough to warm it through. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  • In a small bowl add cheddar cheese, cumin, onion powder, and taco seasoning. Mix well. Set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, warm each tortilla for 30 seconds per side.
  • Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the chili and rice mixture into the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the filling.
  • Add the chopped onions and jalapenos.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up to seal in the filling tightly.
  • Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place each burrito seam-side down and grill for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  • Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole on the side if desired.
