In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until translucent and softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
